AA "Sleepy Shire" sculpted by Donna Chaney. He was then claybody customized and custom glazed by Paige Easley Patty. Paige turned back both ears and resculpted both the mane and tail somewhat to have a more tangled, wind blown aspect. She then custom glazed this piece to a dark dappled bay or brown with pangare in a satin finish. He is amazingly detailed for such a tiny piece but *very* hard to photograph. |
This is the Kaiser Kicking Donkey mold sculpted by Gerhard Bochmann. Paige turned the all white bisque into this custom glazed beauty of a red Sicilian Donkey who is mad at the world. |
This is an early work in ceramic by Paige. When she was just getting started in glazing, I took advantage of her offer and scrambled to find a bisque. I happened to have this Franklin Mint "Pirouette" sculpted by Pamela du Boulay and off he went to her studio. He came back as a pretty shaded liver chestnut. |
