| Directions: Herald is a few miles east of Hwy 99 between Sacramento and Stockton. From the north: Take Hwy 99 south, past Elk Grove. Take the Hwy 104 exit (Twin Cities Road). At the exit light, turn left onto Twin Cities Road (toward Jackson). Pass Raley's plaza. This is the last gas station/store, so if you need anything, do it now. The nearest hotel is also here. Go east on Twin Cities Road for about 10 miles. You will see a sign for Clay Station Road to your left. About a 1/4 mile farther there will be a curve with a 45mph sign. At the curve, leave Twin Cities Road and go straight up the hill. You will be on Clay East Road. At the top of the hill, turn right onto Kirkwood. Go about 1/2 mile, turn left on Beskeen. The pavement will end in about 1/8 mile. Continue on the gravel (drive slowly, max 15mph). The house is the first one on the right after the gravel begins. It is a single story cream colored stucco house with a spanish tile roof and a tan barn. From the South: Take Hwy 99 north, past Lodi and Galt. Take the Hwy 104 exit (Twin Cities Road). At the exit stop sign, turn left onto the frontage road and right onto Twin Cities Road (toward Jackson). Pass Raley's plaza. This is the last gas station/store, so if you need anything, do it now.
